Expanding Your Horizons Convention

Expanding Your Horizons (EYH) is a national effort designed to encourage girls in grades 6-10 to explore careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) through interactive workshops.  The event will feature 30 hands-on workshops lead by professional women who work in various STEM areas.  Each girl may select three one-hour workshops.  The ultimate goal is to motivate young women to become confident, innovative and creative thinkers ready to meet the challenges of our century.
Girls’ evaluations from the past two events state that the conference helped them to learn more about careers they want to pursue.  95% agreed that they would return for the next event!  See flier below.

One day conference at UVU targeting girls grades  9-12.
